These categories follow a circular relationship where adjacent types are compatible, while opposite types are difficult to master. A user's affinity dictates the nature of their Hatsu (special ability), and attempting to use an ability that contradicts one's natural type often results in severe penalties or failure unless they possess exceptional willpower.
